We filled up the truck at the NEAREST station to the drop off location which was 3.5 miles away and they charged my card $127.20 for TWO GALLONS OF FUEL.$127.20 for TWO GALLONS of fuel. Because I had to drive the truck from the nearest gas station to their location we got charged $127.20 for the TWO GALLONS . This is the biggest rip off I've ever dealt with

never using this truck company again.  truck had a faulty gas gauge that showed a maximum of 3/4 full tank!  how the heck are you suppose to know what is really in the tank.  shady!

today on the bus ride to school. this lovely man waved to me and my friend and gave me a thumbs up. he was a bald man with very little hair like homer simpson. i just wanted to give my review on this man i had a lovely this morning and it made my day.

Purchased Semi from them in 2022, the process took 9 weeks post me paying for the unit. It was an awful experience and they assured me that it would not belike this again. Fast forward 10 months when I purchase a second unit from a location in Louisiana, drove it home to texas on a saturday. Monday when my driver got in this unit, it would not go into gear. Penske had the unit towed from my truck yard to Freightliner who diagnosed the unit and said it needed a new clutch. Penske, refused the work and had the unit towed to a local penske location where it was not touched for 2 weeks. After many calls demanding answers they brought the unit in and tried to put a bandaid on the issue instead of doing the work Freightliner already diagnosed the unit with. So now after 90 days post sale they are having to start over and install a new clutch and its been 51 days since it was towed from my truck yard. My post sale coordinator Alyssa Smith at headquarters has not returned one of my phone calls or emails, I have to get updates from the service dept of the shop that the unit is in. Who does not communicate with headquarters at all. This has been the worst buying experience I have ever encountered, and I would purchase a unit off of facebook marketplace before I ever purchase another unit from Penske again in my life. I would give no stars if I could!

I hired a moving company to help with my move and after being bait and switched I called Penske. Customer service was excellent all the way through our move. It was easy to reserve the size truck that was needed, 26ft for a one way trip from CA to CO and pricing was very reasonable. Truck was clean inside and out and dolly present when I picked up.Truck was a little sluggish going over some mountain passes but solid in performance. No issues what so ever. When I went to return the truck which was an hour away, the diesel had gelled over night due to extremely low temperatures even though truck was filled up in CO. I called roadside assistance and was put on hold for 45 min. This is why I'm giving a 4 star rating instead of 5. Once I was able to speak to a customer service agent they were excellent and sent someone out right away. Not so easy in a mountain town. Took an extra day before I could return truck and again customer service was very courteous. Did an after hours drop off with no issues. If you don't mind doing the loading, driving and unloading Penske is the way to go.
