It's been a real bright spot working out with Michael over the last few months. He has directed me towards my fitness goals through workouts in nearby parks, all while abiding by the latest trends in "socially distanced fitness". It's been great to have a trainer through this time who's able to supply equipment and keep everything properly sanitized so that I don't have to schlep my own weights, bands, and mats and things. Kudos to Michael as well for helping me recover from the sciatica that I developed while working long hours from home recently.

Michael is an amazing trainer and human being! I needed help to rebuild my core after a back issue and felt that a group class would not be tailored enough. So I looked for individual sessions instead and never looked back! This was about 5yrs ago. I've learned so much about my body, its strengths, limitations and how to overcome them with practice thanks to Michael's deep expertise, listening skills and attention to details. I'm grateful for his knowledge, support and the safety he creates while helping me push my physical and mental boundaries about what I can do. Most of all, I love that I can show up in a variety of moods and physical condition knowing that he will tailor the workout to my needs on that particular day, this is priceless service, thank you!

Michael is the best. How I got started: I never really worked out before seeing Michael. I did the occasional yoga or Zumba class, but honestly felt like working out just wasn't for me. After a birthday in my early 30s I decided if I wanted to maintain my health and figure I should probably start doing something about it. I started seeing Michael with the intention that I would get more comfortable with this whole workout thing and then be able to do it on my own at a gym or with class pass. Screw that! I get so much out of my sessions with Michael that is it completely worth continuing with the 1:1. What I love about our sessions:They're always different. I'm the type of person who gets bored easily so I love that he switches it up. Michael has a great personality and is super fun to talk to. He caters the sessions to what your body needs that day. For example, if I've come back from a long flight, am sore from another activity, or have been a couch potato I know Michael will have me doing what my body needs most that day. I always leave feeling great- both physically and emotionally. I'm impressed by both his knowledgeable and intuitive approach to fitness. Results:I never had guns before. Now I love showing them off! I'm leaner, stronger, and feel great! It's definitely noticeable as I've received comments from friends and family. Also, I used to have leg pain from standing for too long. Michael focused on building strength in areas that would help and it's made a huge difference. He's helped me work on having better posture and flexibility. When I'm traveling for work and have to skip a week I always miss it and look forward to getting back on track. I could not be happier with the results I experience from working with Michael.

I've been working out with Michael for about ten months. I recommend him very highly. He listened carefully to my training goals, and developed a personal and effective plan based on what he saw I could do. The results speak for themselves: I'm in far, far better shape now than I was last summer, and have finally moved past a couple of long-term injuries.What I want from a trainer is someone who fits your workout style, who uses their expertise to make sure you're effective, and who takes care of the planning and progression so that I don't have to flounder figuring out the right good time to increase difficulty or add a new exercise. Michael fits the bill, and then some. He's very careful to tailor workouts to your abilities, while still making sure to push you hard. When I started, I was still recovering my strength from a torn ACL, and had some associated neck issues. Michael understands the body very well and was able to design a plan that built strength more slowly in problem areas to avoid injury, while still making sure we didn't avoid them altogether. Long story short - Michael will make sure your workouts are perfect for you, and it's this expertise that makes working out with him particularly worthwhile. His space is immaculately kept (and ventilated, thank god!), and more than well-equipped. He's also terrific company, which is kind of a necessity given the amount of time you spend together!
