Their home page says "Everyone has an insurance horror story.", claiming that they will avoid that outcome for you. In fact, my horror story was due to them. I broke my finger in October, submitted the claim form in December once I got the medical bills and sent the final bill in January. From early January until the end of March I asked for an update on multiple occasions, to be told that the claim had been submitted, that the problem was the insurance company and on the final occasion that I was welcome to sue them! Shortly after that email, I received another asking me to submit a new claim form. Obviously I didnt want to start from scratch again and made it clear, upon which Kevin told me that the wrong form had been submitted and we needed to submit the correct form, but it was up to me if I wanted to proceed (presumably he was hoping Id just give up and forget about it!). I would expect a decent business not to wait until three times the legal maximum timeframe nor multiple customer inquiries about the status of a claim before checking that the correct paperwork had been filed. In early April, Kevin emailed saying that the paperwork had been submitted. Shortly afterwards, I filed a complaint with the Department of Insurance in California in order to ensure that the claim proceeded. About six weeks later, the insurance company paid out the claim, telling me that they had only received the paperwork from Kevin in early May. I cannot recommend strongly enough to any potential client that they take their business elsewhere, as in addition to simply not doing his job, I found Kevin extremely obstructive and confrontational.
