image i brought a S3 bike from Vanmoof December last year, and the first bike died with battery issue one month later after i got the bike. I asked for a refund and they insisted that they can only place a replacement for me. Shortly after i got my 'second' bike, it died again. Now i ended up with two died bike, with no hope of getting refund.
Avoid this company and their products. Save you some money and time.

image Although I live in the Bay Area, I had a very inconvenient and unnecessary experience trying to get my bike serviced at the SF store. Right at my one year anniversary of purchasing my X3, my bike showed to have an Error 6. Basically the battery needs to be replaced. I emailed the VM shop, informed them of the error 6, and got myself an appointment for 2 days later. When I arrived they informed me that they do not have any batteries in stock and will not receive any for a month! Supply chain problem I presume? I get that, but WHY give me an appointment?
I offered some solutions:
-swap out a battery with a demo bike? No
-give me a demo bike until new battery arrives? No
-store my bike there until battery arrives? No
-talk to a manager? No, hes not here
-why did you give me an appointment? We missed it. We will put you on the top of the list. How long is the list? The list has two people!
Ill update this as time goes on. Very disappointed bc I ride my bike EVERY day.
UPDATE 3/19/22: After writing this review, I received a call within days, which i presume was the SF site manager, explaining how sorry he was for my experience and that they have a battery for me. I returned to the store within one week of my previous experience and they replaced the battery with a brand new one within minutes! I am thrilled! Thanks VanMoof, you came through for me!

image Didnt have a test ride bike available at my scheduled time and the guy gave me a too bad for you attitude. Super pretentious. Then told me he would only answer my questions until a test ride came back. When asked about racks/baskets he launched into 3rd party racks void warrany rant. I wont be going back.
