Friendly staff and Dr. Petros was wonderful. I wanted to have my teeth whitened and he patiently explained to me that it wasn't the right option for me, and suggested another solution, which I am going to have done. I have extreme anxiety around dental procedures - even cleanings - and the fact that I can get nitrous oxide here is a game-changer. Highly recommend!

Dr Petros is great. I've had a bunch of different things done here (including regular checkups and cleaning). I trust his recommendations: I don't feel like he's trying to sell anything. He listens to feedback and tries to continuously improve his processes. He's very careful and professional and I've always been happy with the outcomes.
2024 update: Been with Peninsula for 5 years now. Even though I live up in SF city now I'll do the extra drive down to Redwood City because these guys are the best. Jasmine is always kind and helpful and organized, David is fantastic with the parts that he does, and Dr. Petros is a dentist who does everything right. He thinks through problems carefully and makes good recommendations, he makes extra time for me if something urgent comes up (even though he's busy). I'm an engineer so I like to understand all the technical parts, and he does a really good job of educating me as a patient, explaining the rationale for a diagnosis, or how a procedure is going to work. I've also seen him approach problems with a lot of humility and an open mind - open to changing his mind when new information is presented. You feel like he's working *with* you (not just working *on* you). In my mind he could be a celebrity dentist. Oh and they are very thorough with the basic stuff, like if I go in there for a basic cleaning, they take the time to get it perfect and I leave with much whiter teeth.

This is the best dentist's office that I've been to in years. So glad I found it! They're thoughtful, listen to patient needs/concerns/questions and provide a ton of background information on any recommendations they suggest.
