Mark is a waste of time and money...he promises all kinds of things and then does almost nothing.  My student did not connect with him and he did not listen to what she needed or wanted.  She didn't even want to talk to him anymore. He kept sending us a list of schools we never heard of and never would consider going like he didn't even listen.  And then when we tried to change his ways to accommodate what we wanted, he wouldn't .  He will not refund your money nor will he help your student get into school.  DO NOT BUY HIS BOOK NOR SEND HIM A DIME.  HE IS A TOTAL WASTE OF YOUR TIME AND MONEY !!!

mark worked directly with my son on college entrance essays with undesirable results. mark suggested he be honest and share the struggles he'd been thru. these essays were 100% rejected by the colleges applied to. upon sharing the results with mark he suggest we continue to engage his services further. we did not. the following year my son's essays were formulated with what the colleges wanted to hear and these received a 100% acceptance rate. lesson learned.
