The plants are still quite good espesally on restock days. In resent vists this past Jan-Feb me and my partner come on the weekends around the later times when we have time to visit and the employees and customer service have seemed more and more lacking these days. I frequent the Palo Alto location quite often and it's quite sad to see this location slipping.

I came in and the person at the counter barely recognized my visitation and proceeded to look down at her phone for twenty minutes until I told her I needed her assistance. Customer service here used to be so on-top of things. Its slipping, and I miss the old Leafy.

My favorite lil plant shop! It's so clean and the employees are all so knowledgeable. They have the cutest pots and some neat rare plants too! Definitely recommend if you're in the area ~

I was happy to learn about this store when the Cardinal Hotel was reopening in April 2022. Nick, who is fabulous, consulted on the project for Leafy and we purchased $1500 of plants for the hotel lobby. We also signed up for a monthly maintenance program @ $250 /month. Nick did an amazing job taking care of the plants weekly and I was very happy with the service but I realized when Nick left Leafy in December that is was Nick that was amazing not the company. They have a hard time hiring and retaining employees. When Nick left he trained a replacement but immediately she did not come every week (per the contract) and the plants were dying. I sent two separate emails to the owner about this situation. One on Jan 13th in which the employee acknowledged she was not here every week. I tried to be patient and optimistic that she could do a good job but the plants just kept deteriorating. I reached out again Feb 13 and the owner Ken Li said he would come over. I was truly disappointed with his response. He took no responsibility for the condition of the plants. Many needed to be replaced and he agreed but then told me he would charge me for them. I was shocked to learn that we would pay $250 a month for weekly maintenance but the company would take not responsibility for the state of the plants. The plants were perfect until one employee left and then 70 % of them were in some state of dying or suffering after just 2 months of someone else in charge of them. He told me that it was like a Dr who could not do anything because the patient was sick of natural causes. Thus it was not the responsibility of Leafy or the employees maintaining the plants but the fault of the plants that all were is excellent shape April -Dec 2022 and half dead by Feb 13 2023. Ken was also quick to tell me that the maintenance contract says that they are not responsible if the plants do not thrive and so well. Needless to say we parted ways and Ken did not seem concerned in the least to lose my business which was also telling.
