We, quite possibly, were assigned the worst room in the hotel. No early check-in available.. then I think the desk agent got mad I asked and reassigned our room. Did not get the balcony as promised, and were right off the elevator bank and lobby. It sounded like we were sleeping in the hallway, with soccer teams thundering past our door/bed at all hours.
The hot tub was disgusting with floating hair, skin particles and other things floating around and not enough chlorine to kill bacteria.
The breakfast was also pretty terrible, with very few options with protein. The breakfast attendant (a woman with greyish hair), however, was really friendly and lovely.
If I had my choice, I would not stay here again. I suspect most people stay here solely based on its proximity to the soccer fields (walkable), but if you have a car, it would be worth staying a little further out.
ETA. In response to hotel response: 1. We were verbally promised a balcony when booking through the agent via phone 2. The sounds from the hallway was not the fault of the teams, but rather the result of the layout of the room and the thin walls. 3. The breakfast was suitably stocked but did not taste good and lacked the number of options we usually see from a Hampton. 4. Per health department regulations, hot tubs are to be checked multiple times per day. If the facility doesn't have the resources to check it, then they should mark it as closed.
Rooms: King room with fireplace does not guarantee a balcony! Beware of this when checking in.
Walkability: Close/walkable to soccer fields. Otherwise, only one restaurant within walking distance.
