Dr. Kanter and her team did my root canal yesterday and I must say, theyre incredible. Ive had serious complications with a root canal in the past but this was a different experience entirely. This is the future of holistic dental care. Im in awe of how little pain I felt during and after the procedure especially considering how long I was suffering with tooth pain and sensitivity issues. Only downside is that they dont take insurance, so can be pricey. But 1000% worth it! Thank you Dr. Kanter and Gigi!

Honestly one of the most soothing dental experiences I have ever had. Office staff is wonderfully empathetic and am feeling so lucky to be in Dr K's care!

I was an emergency patient that was treated by Dr.Kanter and her team for a root canal. I was under blurring pain for several days for a tooth I knew had all the elements of a root canal based on previous consults though I felt that the previous dentists werent thorough enough and not informing me of all of the possibles, their opinions were based on 2d x-rays and that was enough for them to suggest a root canal.
Dr. Kanter was the last professional opinion I had out of three, and thank goodness the universe aligned to lead me to her dental clinic.
They did a physical evaluation on my tooth & took CT scans where they could see beyond what the X-rays were showing and found that there was a lot more going on internally that needed immediate attention and could see an infection brewing and cavity in the filling that was hitting the nerve.
Dr. Kanter and her team consulted with me and laid out all of the options and possibilities being realistic and clear and explaining everything down to their approach for root canals.
The procedure was done the same day of my consult. I had an infection with one dead root and another one close to dying in one tooth!
I have always heard from friends and family about root canals being the most painful thing during and after so mentally I was preparing myself for an uncomfortable experience. The most shocking part, I really didnt feel a thing during and Im not in any pain now following the day of my procedure. A little soreness but I feel good as new.
Listen, these folks are professionals and the best at what they do for a reason. What you read from the 5 star reviews are true. If you have a root canal situation that needs attention, dont even bother spending your money on consults for second, third opinions. Contact Integrative Endodontics and book your appointment with Dr.Kanter. You wont regret it.
I am eternally thankful for the treatment I received at IE and want to give a shout out to Dr Kanter, Gigi, and the whole team at IE for squeezing me into their busy schedule as an emergency patient and treating me the same day.

Dr. Val was referred to me by friends and I watched a podcast where she was interviewed. I was so impressed with her that I immediately booked a flight and went to see her.
This was my second time flying to the L.A. area to have a procedure done with Dr. Val. She is soooo worth whatever it takes to get to her. I LOVE this doctor and her staff!
Dr. Val's approach to helping me is less invasive, much more gentle, aligned with wholistic principles and successfull! She takes her time and brings her full, caring presence to BE with you and to better address your needs. Her staff were friendly and kind and made me feel welcomed and cared for.
I was previously told by my regular dentist and a different endodontist, that I needed to have teeth pulled, implants and a bridge. I was told it would take months and a huge amount of money.
Dr. Val's diagnostic equipment, knowledge and skills were much more sophisticated than any dental professional I have ever been to. I didn't need any of that after all.... she cleaned out my old root canals and the unknown underlying infection common to root canals that most don't know about, and got the bone to regrow and heal completely in way less time than the other procedure would have taken.... and for half the cost!
My previous doctors wouldn't have believed it was possible at all.
She is impressively up-leveling dental care exponentially. And, she cares enough to teach other endodontists her skills and techniques.
I am so much better off for having found her. I feel deeply grateful and truly blessed to have her on my team.
