image Wonderful stay! Employees were very kind! Everything was clean. We used to pool and hot tub and enjoyed it. Breakfast was the best we have had at hotels in a long while! We were very happy with that!

image A family member just shared that the person who identified herself as the General manager (Maria) showed no compassion and care after telling her that she was not able to cancel in time due to an emergency in the family, which the family member ended up passing away. My family member received a call from the GM - Maria threatening that if she didnt pay for the night, the employee who used the family and friends benefit would be taken away.
A complaint has been sent to Corporate Hilton.

Response to the owner
1. The person identified herself as Maria, and if there is no one that works there, then the person offered misleading information. We also spoke with Daisy, who also identified herself as the GM.
2. It is true that this is not my personal experience. But I was asked to assist in finding a resolution.
3. As for your response about the friends and family. It is unfortunate that you offered the response as you did. You equally do not show any compassion when situations out of an individuals control does indeed occur. In fact, the Hilton Care team informed us during both calls that this is not the expected response from a property employee.
4. We were also informed by Hilton Care team that managers are not permitted to threaten staff. You clearly have stated that HIlton could potentially harm the employees perk benefit and even their employment. This could be interpreted as a form of retaliation.
Im sure you have some great people that work there, but someone did not handle this appropriately and to attempt to defend what occurred is equally as disturbing as someone falsely identifying themselves.
In my opinion, you shouldnt be in the business of hospitality and Ill do all I can to communicate to others not to patronize this property.

Hi Nathaniel, We do not have anyone named Maria that works at our front desk. It also seems that you are not posting this review as your OWN experience of YOUR actual stay at our hotel. We have already contacted the persons necessary to address this booking you are referring to. And please note, the Hilton Friends and Family rates that are given are a huge perk and have rules about them in exchange for the deeply discounted pricing. It would be best to review this with your family member, and the Hilton team member, prior to posting online. The team member that your family received these benefits from did that to your friend as a favor, and you are jeopardizing his/her relationship with the program and their own workplace where they receive these benefits from. Don't stay here unless you're ok with rude staff being rude!
I came to ask your front desk previously when picking up a roll away and asked what the latest time was that we could check out and was informed by the staff member that we could check out at 1 pm at the latest.
I had a cleaner come to the room at 10am trying to clean the room and had another come at 11:55 pm. When I gave Marissa this information she raised her voice and demanded I give her the name of the staff member from the front desk that I spoke with.
Marissa stated that I had to check out at 12 no exceptions and when I asked her for the name of the staff member that I spoke with, her response was that it was not her job and her job was to have me checked out on time and was very rude to me in the process
I'm here as she's talking to another guest and she's being very sweet to them which is not how she was interacting with me.
She stated her behavior is warranted because your employee did not notate our stay being checked out until 1.
I don't believe its my fault your staff isn't doing their due diligence when on the clock and in no way shape or form is it acceptable to be ridiculed by your staff member Marissa.
If you can reach out to me by email about your staffs conduct and being rude to your guest I would appreciate it.
There's zero room for staff members being rude and it should not be allowed in your place of business at all.
