VOIPO

Horrible customer service and fraudulent practices. We had a phone number ported to VOIPO many years ago and decided to switch to another company back in 2021. Since then, we have discovered that VOIPO did not close out our account and we have been charged for 3 years for a phone number that VOIPO does not own. I have requested for a supervisor to call-back twice now, and no one has gotten back to me, other than unnamed emails denying a refund and stating that VOIPO is never notified when numbers are ported. This is false. VOIPO was in communication with us in 2021, when they provided us a pin code for porting. Furthermore, they had to agree to give up the number to the other company and would have been in communication with them during the porting process. Porting numbers don't happen without confirmation. Despite all of this, they continued to keep our account active and now are refusing to provide a refund. I have spoken not only with our new company, but also with representatives from Verizon who have helped us with one of our lines, and they have all confirmed with me that what VOIPO is doing is dishonest and the account should have been closed automatically when VOIPO gave up the number. Stay far away from this company. UPDATE: In response to all of this, VOIPO just made an invoice and automatically charged us for another year even though the due date is in May 2024. It is January. This company engages in retaliatory and criminal behavior against its customers.

This service never worked. The equipment kept disconnecting and we needed to reset the equipment every time we needed to listen to messages or make a call. Phone never rang since the equipment just kept disconnecting. Even worse we stopped using the equipment and it got lost. If you don't return the equipment there is no refund even if you paid in advance.

YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR. Such as with Voipo I discontinued Voipo because I continuously had problems that led me to buy new phones. After, the new phones the problems continued. That's when I discontinued the service and returned the equipment four months ago and I am still waiting for a $185.00 balance due me. DO NOT TAKE A CHANCE ON VOIPO.
