Terrible, Terrible, Terrible! I asked for a quote on basic patio cover. I wanted to get an estimate so I knew around what cost I would be looking at. After I sent a photo of the space I was looking to build the patio on and sending the measurements I took, Eddie said he would give me an estimate. He never came out to the house, he interrupted me quite a bit on the phone and was talking pretty negatively about other companies and their tactics. He texted me next day to give me a quote but when I asked for the itemized quote in writing, (just so I would know what I was being charged for and what was included in the project, for my own records) he got really irritated and started being aggressive saying that his costs were none of my business and what I was asking for was ridiculous. Then he said he was declining the job right now because nobody has ever asked him that before and this wasn’t worth his time. Then said good luck with another contractor. I apologized for offending him and told him to have a good day. He then continued again to tell me I didn’t need to know what his costs for material were, his profits, or what he charges for labor. He didn’t need to continue to be rude. That should have been the end of it.
I have never been so disrespected by a company before nor have I ever been talked down to like that just for asking for a record of what my costs would be.
If you’re looking for a company that will be up front about what you’re getting and will treat you with an ounce of respect, please find another company to deal with.
P.S. Eddie, I’m not sure if you misread my request or maybe don’t understand how a business record works, but when a client asks for an itemized work order, they are going to want a record of what it is they are paying for. People don’t pay 5k+ without some kind of receipt. On the phone you said you have been doing this for 35 years, I can’t imagine that in over 35 years, you’ve never given someone an itemized record of services. I didn’t ask for your cost of materials or your profits... I asked what you were charging me and yes... you should be able to tell someone what you charge for labor. You sound like your being sketchy and I hope you don’t treat any other potential client how you treated me today.

Purchased two security screen doors Eddie’s kept me posted on delivery and install times. Doors were installed and looked great, Did have an issue with door frames unrelated to install, Eddie came out took a look and made everything right He went out of his way to make sure the doors stayed secured and perfect!
Will be recommending his company to my daughter for screenings on her patio!
