If I could leave zero stars, I would. I just experienced the worst possible flower ordering experience I could have imagined. I am not from Fremont, but I was searching for a local florist to have flowers delivered to my mother-in-law for her 70th birthday, which is kind of a big deal! I placed the order on 9/18 for delivery on 9/22 (her birthday). I received an email confirmation of my order on 9/18. Well 9/22 rolls around and my husband speaks to his mother multiple times that day and no flowers were delivered. Okay, this was shocking to me, but I waited until Saturday to see what was happening. I've never had flowers not delivered before. Come Saturday, the flowers still have not been delivered. At this point, I attempt to call Kathy's Floral Designs over and over again and each time I get sent straight to voicemail. I leave three voicemails. No response from anyone - no call, no email, still no flowers delivered. It was not until Sunday, two days after the flowers were supposed to be delivered, that I received a text message from Kathy saying she was out of the country in Canada and she thought she set her website up to not receive new orders and she doesn't know how my order got through but she will "look into it." Look into it? Get my flowers delivered! That's what she should have done. I called more times and I sent more texts, and I forwarded her the email confirmation I received FROM HER. No further response from her all day Sunday. Monday morning I write back to her that I need the flowers delivered because my mother-in-law is still waiting for her flower delivery! Kathy simply wrote back "Your order is voided, no flowers will be delivered." What???? Are you kidding??? Kathy did ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to right her wrong. Her being out of the country and "thinking" that she paused all new orders is not my problem as the customer who innocently relied on her floral shop to do its job and deliver flowers as promised per my order! She made NO EFFORT to actually deliver the flowers, nor did she even apologize for her failures. This is simply unacceptable from anyone in any industry! When someone makes a mistake or fails to "pause their orders" properly, you should go out of your way to apologize and make it right by getting the flowers delivered immediately. Instead, she did nothing, never said sorry and never delivered the flowers. I am still in shock at how poorly this was handled. I contacted TeleFlora as well since that is the platform used on her site and was told I need to contact Kathy's Floral Design directly for a resolution. Well I did that and no resolution. Businesses like these should not be in business. I have now been forced to order flowers from another local flower shop nearly a week after my mother-in-law's 70th birthday. My mother-in-law is disappointed, and so are we. A birthday is not something that you can send flowers any old day, it's one day! And 70 was a big birthday for her. Kathy personally ruined this special surprise we planned for my mother-in-law. I could not be more disappointed in this experience. This is the EXACT OPPOSITE of customer service. Find another florist, this is not the one.
