I SHOULD HAVE NEVER GONE WITH THIS COMPANY!
This has quite possibly been the worst financial decisions Ive ever made! This company absolutely lied to us their technicians damaged our property and because of the lies and their faulty system we are now paying considerably more a month then we would be if we stuck with pge. I would NEVER recommend this company. And we have confirmed their lies through several professionals such as CPAs etc.

We went with Future Energy, and as it is still relatively new to our home, we have saved $60 from one of our previous year's bills so far. It did take a while for SMUD to come out and inspect. The salesmen were professional and friendly. The Installation crew was on time and did the best they could during the winter weather we had. I am waiting for summer to see a more significant difference on an SMUD bill.

So today is February 24, 2024 and I received a phone call from Glenn who said that he is not a salesman trying to set up an appointment to come out and try to sell me solar. The conversation was pleasant at first until I had a difference of opinion, at which point Glenn hung up on me. When I try to call Glenn back, it went straight to voicemail, I sent Glenn a text message asking why he hung up. He did not respond, and after several attempts of trying to call him back, I texted him again. asked him why he was ignoring my phone call. He then called me back a few minutes later, and tried to tell me that hes on the phone all day trying to make appointments for solar. Clearly, he doesnt care whether or not people have a difference of opinion then he tells someone in the background that Im the argumentative one. He also told me that no one reads the reviews, because I stated that Im going to review his company. I believe that if youre making cold calls to try to sell any type of product and your perspective, consumer has a difference of opinion, or is not interested that you move onto the next one without being rude, Im sure theres people out here who disagree and thats fine thats why youre entitled to that opinion I would not use this company for solar or anything ever.

Buyer beware. I recently discovered that after my system that is only two years old, has a PV Link down. Unfortunately, in November 2023 Future Energy cut their service department and they are outsourcing all of their service to a 3rd party service provider. This puts the financial burden directly on the customer to have the 3rd party service provider service your solar system. Its $360 for the initial service that only accounts for 1 hour and then $180 after that. This financial burden is put directly on the customer and they found that they can save a lot of money. Id advise to go with a company that still has a service department and can take care of your system when its only two years old. The GM, Rob Heckendorn, will let you hang out to dry when you have issues.

We did a new roof and Solar with Future Energy Savers. The roof was done with very high quality materials and the finish work was impressive. The folks installing our solar system with a battery did a great job. Our system is generating more power than we are using. We really enjoy the app that allows us to see how our system is performing at anytime. We are happy with our investment into solar and with Future Energy Savers.
