Very knowledgeable doctor. Hard to find such a good doctor around bay are. He is also teaching in several school and even in Taiwan.

I wasnt sure all the reviews before me were from doctors friends or real patients. As you know you cant completely trust all that. However I decided give it a try. Now I can say Dr. Wang is the the most experienced, skillful acupuncturist I have ever seen. I visited him yesterday for the first time due to a car accident/rear ended happened in February. I had about 8 visits at another clinic first. didnt have any noticeable progress. So I found Dr. Wang through Google search. Im so glad I did.
The way he exams and his acupuncture skills are the best. Unlike others, keep pressing on my back all over each time, asking me where hurting. Instead he uses his fingers lightly press and rub/feel on a few spots then he says if it is the spot that is hurting. Meaning he knows where is inflamed before I tell him.
Anyway twice a week scheduled for future appointments. On top of that, I was also advised to use cold ice patches on the spots for 3 times a day, 10 minutes each time. At other place, I dont have that. In contrast, putting heat on the spots is bad for the inflammation which other place does. I have realized that many acupuncturists in the U.S. dont know what they are doing.

Fantastic doctor and acupuncture. Extremely wise, and experienced. Very comfortable experience in the clinic. With 3 skillfully inserted needles, took away my shoulder and neck pain, when I felt I could hardly sleep and move it again. I had tried a half dozen massages before the treatment, which helped, but only a little. Went back again for lower back pain, and amazing results, too. Not painful at all.

I first went to see Dr. Wang was back in 2007 when I sprained my ankle badly. For 3 days my foot couldn't touch the floor and I had to use crutches. After one session with Dr. Wang, I was able to walk out of the door. Still limping but without crutches. I've seen many practitioners of Chinese medicine/acupuncture over the years. Because of lack of comparison and the placebo effect, it's often hard to tell if their approach works or not. In the case of Dr. Wang, you see the impact right away. He's really good with fresh soft tissue injury. The finger based massage he developed works really well. For older injuries that didn't heal well, it's less effective. I've been using him as my go-to guy for sports related injury in the last 15 years. It has worked well for me.
