image If I could give zero stars, I would. The dispatcher that I spoke with was extremely unhelpful, rude, and dismissive. As someone who did not have an understanding of the processing system, I called to gather information on how to respond to the arrest process. The dispatcher I spoke with could not answer my questions. When I asked where I could gather more information, I was told that my concerns were not valid and quite literally laughed at. I demand that the Claremont police department looks into the dispatcher working April 5th @7:40pm in an attempt to establish a communicative, respectful, and helpful response system for the public.

image Mixed bag. They gave me a push when my car needed to jump start. They wrote me for 30 in a 25 two days before I went in the army. I had to have my parents pay because I wouldn't be around to contest it. They ignored me when I had evidence in an accident case. They booked in $80 I found with no paper work and later told me to get it from the city but there's no record - hmm?

image I never write reviews but I was treated so nicely (even though they falsely arrested me) I said jokingly to jailer Aguiniga that I would write a review about this run down PD because I was so happy that I was told by officer Garay 4348 and another officer that I would be able to get my tools and Christmas presents out of my car without paperwork from the DMV. That all I would need to show are my booking papers. Well that was not the case when I called the next morning. So I feel like Claremont Police Department are the Grinch that stole Christmas. But after I sent a complaint email to the department I was able to get my property out of my car with a bill of sale. Police impound yards and their policies are terrible. Did you know if your car is stolen that you are responsible for paying the outrageous fees to get it out. How is that fair? They know a lot of people living paycheck to paycheck will have to surrender their car to them for resale at auction. Something so traumatic like that to a family could cause them to be homeless. But even though the Claremont Police Department have the same policies and fees that are higher then most departments. They are very friendly and helpful and they have a small town feel about there department. They should use the money that they make on selling people's cars and fix that rundown building.
