Nice low key home improvement store. Very friendly helpful staff. In many ways it feels easier to shop at than Home Depot.

We have been Lowe's customers for many years. However, after recent events, we will not be returning. In November, we had an issue with a dishwasher purchased at Lowe's 3 years prior. At the time of purchase, we bought the Lowe's Protection Plan. We got an error code on the dishwasher regarding a drain issue and contacted the protection plan, who sent Lake Appliance Repair to our house. The repair was negligent and caused major water damage to our kitchen (flooring, dry wall, insulation, cabinets). We are now 3 months after the damage, and I'm navigating the outcome of Lowe's not standing behind their products or vendor services. Lake Appliance Repair is denying responsibility (even though I witnessed the repair). Once Lowe's opened a corporate liability claim on my behalf, they will no longer return my calls. I have even tried walking into the store and asking for the store manager or assistant manager. The customer service lead at the front of the store had an assistant store manager on the phone who had lots of questions but then just referred me to their insurance company, Sedgwick. So, I'm standing on subfloor and hand washing dishes for 3 months with missing kitchen cabinets and a refrigerator by our front door. It has been a disappointing experience to say the least. If Lowe's and/or their vendor don't take responsibility, it's an at fault homeowners claim for us, we're out our deductible and our insurance rates go up. At the very least, we would like Lowe's to cover the cost of a new dishwasher but when I request this, no one will return my calls. This is not how customers should be treated.
Additionally, I tried following up with Lowes based on their reply to this review. The toll free number they provided simply put me back into the general phone tree for Lowes Protection Plan. Their unacceptable follow-up to a customer service complaint continues.
