Nice hotel with good sized rooms. Great free breakfast each morning. Good location. We were able to park our car and not need to use it again. We were able to walk to the beach, food and entertainment from this location. Nice rooftop restaurant to relax with a great view. Lobby has beach towels for you to use.

This place isn't a great spot. It is always nice and clean and the rooms are very large. Some of the rooms have a great view of the ocean. If you're staying in Carlsbad I would highly suggest staying here the staff was very nice and very helpful and they were very well staffed also.

This SpringHill Suites is the best one I have ever stayed at. Service - 5 stars. Kelly, the front desk supervisor, was over and beyond with kindness, answering questions, extending our stay etc.. Location is perfect - across from the beach with a fantastic walking/running trail; close to restaurants, smoothies, coffee and lots of fun shops. They have a small laundry facility on 3rd floor (super nice). Parking is under hotel and only $20 a day (not bad at all for the location). The grill on rooftop was so perfect for sunset and the food was actually very good! I will be staying there again in May!!!
Rooms: Rooms were nothing fancy but very clean & definitely higher end for a SpringHill Suites although the rooms with balcony were very nice for a SpringHill Suites!!
Nearby activities: Beach is ACROSS the street!
Walkability: Across from the ocean, restaurants, shops etc we parked and walked everywhere
Food & drinks: The rooftop was great (a little crowded but what do you expect over the ocean at sunset)! Reasonable prices and good food!

I would like to express my gratitude to Kelly and Christhoff for their exceptional customer service. When I arrived at the hotel's front desk for check-in yesterday, they greeted me with warm and welcoming smiles. Kelly patiently answered all my questions about my current and future reservations and even provided helpful recommendations for nearby restaurants. I truly appreciate her help and kindness.
Rooms: The rooms were clean, and the linens and pillows looked freshly made.
Safety: This location is safe for children to walk in. You can feel confident that your children can enjoy a peaceful walk without any worry.
Walkability: Close to great restaurants and the beach
Food & drinks: Great breakfast options here - fresh and healthy choices to energize your day!
