I registered with Central Casting 1 year ago as a paid up and current member of SAG-AFTRA. I've received dozens and dozens of availability requests from Central Casting asking if I was available on certain dates for union gigs. I ALWAYS promptly (sometimes even immediately) responded with YES, and yet I've never actually been booked on anything. Ever! I'm talking like 50-75 requests of availability from CC and not one single gig. I feel like this is somehow a scam.

Their communication habits are beyond pathetic. No way to raise questions to anyone who can offer a straight answer, and all complaints about staff manning their email (such as Priyanka) are directed pointlessly to an ethics commission which only amplifies the idiocy of how Central Casting is organized. Will never work for them again! Also received an unbelievable number of work inquiries that were not matching my profile and schedule. Really pathetic. Clowns.

Central Casting is an amazing hub for work. I mean l have done BG to principal roles thru getting jobs from Central Casting. If you want to learn get experience in front of the camera. Do this. Join up!
