My son and I have loved working with Dr. Nichols. He relates really well to me and my son and always seems to have a positive attitude about my son’s struggles. Dr. Nichols is authentic, compassionate, and funny. He helped my son feel important and relaxed right from the start even though he had been pretty anxious about talking to a psychologist. He also listens intently and responds well to our feedback. We met several times at first when my son was being evaluated and then Dr. Nichols explained the results in an understandable way that was focused on identifying the underlying reasons for my son’s challenges and how to work through them. My husband and I have been able to support our son much better now that we have a deeper understanding, and counseling has helped him be more successful in his classes and with his friends. He is so much happier now. Also, the office setting is quaint and comfortable, and his office receptionist has always been courteous and friendly. I highly recommend!

Took (edit) over a week to get a phone call back after leaving multiple voicemails. Filled out and faxed an intake form as requested. No follow up whatsoever. Called and left a voicemail once a week or so the past few weeks. Nothing.

While Im sure the details in your response are true for some people or clients etc. it simply was not the case in mine. I was a VA applicant. I was not contacted in return with the exception after a week from a voicemail I left.
I have called from a working number and left audible voicemails: August 1st, 3rd, 8th (you returned a call to say fill out an intake form which I did), 11th, and 19th.
You have not followed up. Not retuned other calls and voicemails or even confirmed you received my form.
Your rebuttal to this review is the first time Ive heard from your business in the month long process its taken to try and set an appointment with you. Please take this immediate feedback to understand you did not perform to the standard you spoke of in your rebuttal. My last name and first initial is on this review profile. Should not be hard to find my info in your office. However, I obviously do not wish to obtain services at this time.
