image I had a hysterectomy on 10-24-2023. I am distraught on how uncourteous this place is. Before surgery, there was too much time in between preps. When I got to my room after waking up it was even worse. I dont remember my nurses name I wish I did. They didnt come in and check on me, unless they had to get their readings to write down, like they were doing something. They seemed unorganized. But when it came to showing care for my husband, who was caring for me, they treated him like he wasnt there. No care for him while waiting in the waiting room, to sit with me before surgery. They Lolly-gagged around until there was no time for me to see him, or my boys before being took back. After surgery, I was furious and ready to go, and the nurse kept giving side looks at my husband like it was him telling her that, No, I am leaving. They were very rude to him! I hope I never have to put him in that situation again!! There are some men who are really into caring for their wives, and mine is definitely one of them. They handed me domestic abuse papers like I really needed them. How dare the assume that all men are like that. Thats what is wrong with a lot of these good men, they are stereotyped, and thats why we have to do so much on our own. Dont assume!!

image I'm in shock reading some of the comments. I went to Dr. Joshua Ward for a breast exam. I had discovered a lump in my left breast. He was gentle and made me feel comfortable. My daughter accompanied me and he took the time to speak with (not at) both of us. We appreciated him doing that. His nurse scheduled me for a mammogram. I'm soon to be 73 and I've never had a mammogram.
I had my mammogram Wednesday. Awesome technologist performed my mammogram. She was great. I felt like such a wimp for being terrified of having a mammogram. I had the 3d mammogram. It didn't hurt one bit. I give that credit to her. She discovered 2 lumps (one large one small). She talked it over with the Radiologist and he ordered a ultrasound immediately. After that he came in and told me and my daughter he was ordering biopsies of both lumps. He was very accommodating and took the time to explain why I needed it asap. So that happens Monday. I have to stop all Aspirin, etc. for five days. I have no doubt that experience will go fine. I am not apprehensive as I usually am (I'm usually suffering from "white coat" syndrome). I feel God and my radiologist have got me covered, and that's a good thing.
