We were so excited to get away for a few days and saw the great reviews at this hotel! Unfortunately our stay was terrible. Before coming we were not sure if we would be coming for three nights or four so we only booked for three and then once we realized we could come a night early I called and spoke with the front desk. They assured me I would not have to switch rooms or check out/check back in if I booked an extra night. I called again right before we booked the extra night to MAKE SURE we wouldn’t be bothered about the reservation because we had a dog with us and we would be getting there at 3am so we didn’t want to be bothered the next day. Again I was reassured it would all be taken care of. We arrived after 3am that night and we were exhausted and the guy that checked us in assured us yet again that our reservation was fine. I get a call the next morning from the front desk lady that I needed to check out and check back in and needed to get new keys??! I told her we had already asked about this several times and she was extremely rude and said the guy worked a different shift and so basically it’s different rules now that it’s her shift. So we went down there and had to check out and check back in and she acted like she was doing us a huge favor by keeping us in the same room even though three times that was what was told to me before. We were also told breakfast would be from 7am-9am so the next day I set my alarm to wake up and be down to breakfast by 830 and when we got there, there was no breakfast. Not a fruit bowl, nothing. It looked like breakfast had never happened. The same rude lady said well it’s first come, first serve so you missed it. Wow?? Not I’m sorry we ran out or any sort of apology. So the last morning we were there I went down to breakfast again and there was some nasty looking patty things wrapped in clear plastic. There was no juice, no eggs, no biscuits, no sausage, no bagels, no cereal, I mean nothing except these nasty looking things. And I had my dog with me as I mentioned because it’s supposed to be a dog friendly hotel but the lady at the front rudely told me, “ma’am you can’t have your dog near the breakfast area!!” Okay what? So I can’t bring her down to the lobby with me? Because that is where their “breakfast area” was located. How do you call this a dog friendly hotel and why am I paying EXTRA to have my dog discriminated against??? Finally when I called before I made reservations I was assured there was a pool. When we got there we realized yes there’s an INDOOR pool that was CLOSED until further notice but of course that was not mentioned. The other reviews I have read on here that are negative all have to do with the staff so I strongly advise that the management does some retraining with them or just get new people because it’s affecting your business. I will not be staying at this hotel or any other Hilton’s in the future If this is how they treat their guests and I will be advising that my friends do the same. I have made a corporate complaint and I look forward to hearing what they have to say regarding our stay. It’s so unfortunate their staff is so unprofessional because the hotel has potential to be a great place to stay.

had booked this hotel as an overnight for Oct 6 on the way home, using my honors points and the app.
Received an email Oct 5 telling me "Check in now and use Digital Key for your stay at Home2 Suites by Hilton Conway"
So I clicked it, and proceeded to request the digital key. Was told - will be notified when it is ready.
En route to the hotel I check, and notice the key STILL is not ready, and there is a note telling me the digital key did not work, and I needed to stop by the front desk to 'verify' some information.
At that point I noticed in the app an option to MESSAGE the hotel directly. As I was driving, voice/text messaging worked best for me so I inquired as to the issue.
April responded immediately and told me to sign out and back in to the app, as that usually clears issues. I did... and got the same error with the key.
She then tells me I need to come by the front desk to 'verify some info'.
I then ask - what info...
and the response I got?
" I cannot go into detail over text for security reasons".
ok, so I am using the Hilton APP... which requires me to SIGN IN with my credentials... and all I am asking is WHAT INFO needs to be verified, so I can ensure I have that information upon arrival. I am not asking for any identifying information... I just need to know what to have when I get there.
Instead of simply answering the question, instead they are now accusing me of CRIMINAL ACTIVITY, again using the app which has my logged in credentials!
I then reply - you will regret that.
She responds a few moments later telling me the manager has been engaged, and they are taking this threat seriously, having canceled my reservation (without charge) AND reported me to local law enforcement as well as being reported to Hilton!
I immediately tweeted regarding this absurdity, and was told by social media that someone from the hotel would be contacting me within 3 business days. That NEVER HAPPENED!
Nor has anyone from Hilton bothered to reach out to try to smooth over the issue.
the - you will regret that?
Well, you are seeing that 'regret' now..... By tweeting of the experience, and leaving a factual review of what happened both on Trip advisor, google, yelp & facebook.
Of course, since they already made me out to be a criminal, by simply asking what information would be needed at check-in... they automatically assumed ILLEGAL action by saying you will regret that!
Based on this experience... my stays at Hilton properties will be limited to the free nights remaining in my program... and after that... I will find a company that treats it's members with a little more dignity.
Hilton... has lost my business... thanks to April at this hotel. I hope it was worth it!

1st week my hotel smelled like a dirty mop. Yet again I chose to come back for my 2nd week of business. This time I got bed bugs! I'm currently at the coin laundry facility washing everything I own due to fear of taking them back home much less to my new hotel. Don't go. New but cleaning is horrible. Short handed so they only clean on Wednesday according to the note left in the room. Don't do it.

Both of our rooms were dirty. One smelled like wet dog and had a sticky carpet. The other had urine and hair on the toilet. The front desk person was extremely rude and indifferent. Offered no help. I told her we'd have to check out if they couldn't help us out and she said "OK". Worst customer service I have ever received at any of the hundreds of Hilton properties I have stayed at. We checked out and got rooms at the Hilton Garden Inn in the same parking lot and had a great stay there.

Our first room smelled like dog. We got a second room that smelled better, but I grabbed a glass that had lipstick on it, the blind is broken and won’t roll up, the tub wasn’t clean and neither was the floor. The towels are ratty, there’s stains on the furniture and the blind has holes in it. It looks like the sheer might’ve been electrical at one point, but has been disconnected, so it no longer comes down. I think it’s time for an update. If you want the air below 68 you have to call the front desk and have maintenance come in to adjust it. The beds are comfortable and the fitness area was adequate. The staff is not friendly, they gave us dirty looks as we walked past the front desk all morning, but the person at the breakfast counter was friendly. We tried to go to the pool at 8:45am and couldn’t get in. We asked what time it opened and they said “ummm I think 10?” No one tried to verify it. It is definitely a 2 star hotel with terrible service.
