Carroll county sheriff's department won't even take reports on things they should called the paper for possible help in letting people know what sheriff's department is doing. Paper wasn't even interested! Think people need to know how there tax dollars are being spent. Was told these people might help. What a joke that was!!

The Carroll County News lost my respect completely when a very hurtful story was shared on social media and comments were allowed. Not only were there errors, but they did not seem to care about the families they were hurting. It’s sad that social media is so weaponized. If you must report terrible things, at least shut down the comments to protect the innocent families and friends.
