Ive used this office in the past and the doctor was decent but never on time. More recently, the front staff is rude and lazy.
They called me asking for my updated vision insurance. I provided the information and she had no idea what she was talking about regarding the use of blue cross blue shield vision insurance. (One of the largest medical insurance providers in the country)
I explained that I could provide her my member ID number and she could confirm the coverage. She began to argue with me that she would have to have me show the card to the doctor. I then asked her if she could confirm before the appointment that they will accept my insurance which she refused to do. Any other office Ive been to simply takes the member ID # and name of the insurance and calls the company to confirm your coverage.
This office is also listed as accepting blue cross blue shield on blue cross blue shield VISION website.
It was easier making an appointment with the eye doctor up the road and the staff wanted to be helpful.
