Now I know how you make over 1 billion in revenue - by stealing from honest businesses!
You should simply have two robots answering the phone because they all sound like reading and they dont even listen the concern that customer has. Impossible to reach over email once they sell you the package but till then they are extremely responsive, chat is not working, no proper help with account set up and they kind of forget to be specific about monthly charges even if you ask straight forward. On top of that, they kind of forgot to tell me that agreement is for 12 months and that there is an early termination fee. The mist dishonest business I ever dealt with.

Yeah, I don't think Vonage is alone in the telephony market but I would certainly suggest you look at your alternatives. I went well beyond initial contract, into I think year 3. But an intermittent issue of my inability to retrieve my voice mail forced me to switch services. Their inability to deliver their half of a contractual agreement (they provide service, I pay for it) was violated but they still held me to the contract termination. They did reduce the services to the minimum which did earn them the second star but I can't recommend them.

I had been a client with Vonage for 2 years.
I had to move to another service due to a feature that I needed that they did not offer. I logged into my account and contacted them asking them to cancel my account.
Per the Customer Service Rep, they emailed me saying that I had to make a phone call to cancel. I have every other email by Vonage but suspiciously not one on the date they stated saying how to cancel. When I called asking them to honor my original date, they refused.
Just a shady way to run a business when I clearly asked to cancel. Will never use Vonage ever again.

Absolutely not user friendly and probably the worse customer service for this type of service. Set up an add-on local fax to my services recently and did not get a fax number or access to the service I paid for. When I attempted to get tech support for it, i was routed several different ways with little to no help along the pathway...while I did eventually get to someone who could help, they only half solved my problem and then passed me off to another person, who then passed me off to another, who then passed me off yet again to another who then disconnected from me without even attempting to solve my issue. I still do not have my issue solved. How helpful they are to take your money but how unhelpful they are once they have it. Find a better Voip company to work with than this one...you are not even worth their time, as they make sure you are aware of the entire time they are having to deal with you.
