All of the Interventional Physicians at this practice (VIP) are genuinely amazing! I will never go anywhere else for my own personal needs and I highly recommend anyone whom is in search of premium care from an elite group of CARING physicians to STOP your search here at Vascular and Interventional Physicians. Dr. Wittenberg is unlike anything I have ever come across in the medical field. He is beyond thorough in his approach, genuinely caring, and reassuring in many ways. Most physicians of his caliber have a bit of a hard time connecting with their patients i'm coming to find through observation as an employee, but he squashes this immediately upon meeting him. He has recently been awarded "Physician of the Year" with many more prestigious and well recognized titles behind his name for a reason. It seems his bread and butter are Interventional Oncology treatments, joint/epidural injections and the treatment of Varicose Veins. However, do not let that fool you into thinking that is all he can treat. This practice is the ONLY practice in the state of AZ to my knowledge to have a separate clinic where you can consult with IR's (Interventional Radiologists, generally 100% hospital-based only physicians) before & after any procedures performed. This is an amazing advantage & a beyond innovative approach on behalf of VIP to introduce to our healthcare systems vs. other faulty set ups. You no longer have to jump through multiple doctors offices racking up unnecessary bills, shall you have any pre-post complications or questions. Most people don't understand the true greatness of this fairly unfamiliar sub-specialty. However, you truly should take the time in learning the dynamics of a Interventional Radiologist. Interventional radiologists can basically do any and everything it seems. And Vascular and Interventional Physicians has housed all of the best ones under one roof. IR's are physicians whom are able to comprehend ALL forms of radiology, basically making them the go-to physicians for any and all minimally invasive procedures. This would include but is not limited to: Varicose vein treatments, Sclerotheraphy, treatment of PAD's, Joint injections, PICC's, Ports, treatment of stubborn DVT's, Angioplasty, ICV Filter placements and retrieval, biopsies, Chemoembolization, Y-90 treatments and so many more procedures. Dr. Kurli, Dr. Titus and Dr. Romano all help make up the group of Physicians at the VIP practice. They are all who also encompass amazing bedside manner. I have personally worked with all of these amazing Physicians in and out of Procedures and I can not say enough how awesome their bedside manner is. Plenty of medical personnel are trying to find ways to work with each one of these individual physicians because they are nothing less than amazing.
