Craig from Independence Pools is fantastic. He listened, took suggestions seriously, and helped to resolve issues even with trades that I brought to the engagement. At the end of the day, Craig was there for me as a customer and wanted my outcome to be the best possible scenario. I would highly recommend Independence Pools. If you have not done an owner build pool before it can be a little intimidating because of all the unknowns youve never experienced. Craig will help you manage through the entire process.

Craig was amazingly professional and attentive. He saved us thousands of dollars and we are beyond happy with our pool. Even during Covid he was able to find us contractors that did a great job. So happy with our experience. Highly recommend him to anyone considering building a pool.

The pool Craig designed for us is perfect. He helped us throughout the process with everything from soliciting bids to getting involved when there was an issue with a contractor (only once, and Craig was very helpful). The best part - it was completed faster than if I had I used a pool company and I saved over $10,000 - probably closer to $20,000 after several last minute changes (another major bonus with Independence Pools - theres no such thing as a change order fee). We found Independence Pools at the Home & Garden show, and they were exactly what I was looking for! Traditional pool builders may work for some homeowners, but left me wanting. I envisioned my backyard as an extension of our living area, and had very specific purposes for different areas. This meant that I wanted the yard to not only be a reflection of our lifestyle and family, but also be functional. The pool being a focal part of the yard, was integral to our vision. Craig and Independence Pools did such an incredible job of bringing our vision to life in the design, and I can't wait to see the final product. I will update my rating when we are swimming in our new pool!

I saved tons of money. Craig designed a far superior pool to any of the other quotes and made sure that every step was completed perfectly. Absolutely the best way to build a pool.
