Affiliated Southwest Surgeons: Borjeson Caren L DO

Ive seen Dr. Borjeson starting nearly 10 years ago for routine colonoscopies. During these procedures, Dr. Borjeson identified atypical tissue twice and removed it, saving me from what otherwise would have been colon cancer. Dr. Borjeson has always considered my comfort and well-being when making treatment decisions. For example, she couldve chosen a much more invasive colon resection for a recent situation that was instead managed through a colonoscopy and removal of tissue during that procedure. She is not over-aggressive and has always taken the treatment approach that ensured I would have the best possible outcome, with the least amount of discomfort. Dr. Borjeson has always been very kind to me and her office staff have been extraordinarily helpful and available when needed. I have trusted my life to Dr. Borjeson and will continue to do so. - Dewey Denham

I had hernia surgery 2 years ago and never had one problem she did a Great job.

About 3 years ago my father was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer. Not only did Dr borjenson set my dad up for a precdure he didnt need done (we did not know we put our trust in dr Caren Borjeson). Not only did she do that but she was going on vacation that weekend and we knew this because she kept talking about it. Well i guess she was thinking to much about her vaction on not her patients well being because she forgot to sign off on my father surgery precedure so my dad who was dieing and in severe discomfort waiting at the hospital in the waiting room for 5 or 6 hours before we were told dr borjenson forgot to sign the surgery precedure paper work. So the whole thing was called off and my dad passed away a few days later. Its aparent that my dad didnt need the small predure but she wanted to make the money i assume. After researchibg her I found other interbet reviews talking about her and her brother who is also a dr being money hungry and bad drs. This was my experience. Dr Borjenson made a very hard time even harder. I would nevee use her again as a dr. Nor will i use southwest surgeons as im worried they employ bad Drs. The staff at southwest was nice i just question theyre drs.

I had a hernia repair from Dr. Borjeson on 10/13/21. There were a few hang ups but they were no fault but my own. Dr. B was fantastic in making decisions so that we were able to go forward with the surgery. She was very profesional and kept me informed of the situation. The surgery went great. My recovery is going well and I will be seeing her shortly, hopefully to remove my drain hose. Thank you for all you've done for me Dr. Borjeson.
