Gary and Sons Painting

We hired them last October for a job they said would take 3 weeks. They do not communicate at all about what they will do when. I tried to make the painters lives easier by having the rooms that they were going to paint cleared. They would send two people and mostly just one guy. I had to check work because things were missed completely like door jams and around windows, two walls on the bathroom were only done once so you could still see the bottom original paint. We fired them because they sprayed in the house. Something they say they do not do per their contract. The whole house smelled strongly of paint and if you were in there for a few minutes a headache would ensue. The required a down payment to start the job since we cancelled the job it has been HELL trying to get our money back. In December Matt said he was running behind and was apologetic but said he would have it in a week. Since it was the holidays we said in the spirit of Christmas we would wait until after the holidays. Well its true no good deed goes unpunished. All this while he has been avoiding our calls my husband had to call from an unmarked number to get him to answer. It is ridiculous a supposed professional business operates this way. Matt finally sent a partial payment a month ago but since them we have not hear anything. I call and leave messages, email, text but no reply. I would use pigeons if i thought i could get a reply. Also the painters he fired for spraying the house. What he said they do not do came to my house a few weeks later. They said he had not paid them for previous jobs and his checks kept bouncing causing them to lose money. They also said that the manager Phil told them to spray. Matt had said he would come and install an air scrubber the following day. He did not he ghosted our calls and messages. We would have kept them on the job had they responded better to the situation. I've used Gary and Sons Painting for 2 houses including my own. They painted the entire exterior of my house and stained my oak entrance door. I also used them to paint the exterior and entire interior of a 2nd house. They were very professional, reliable, respectful of property, and experienced. Gary and Sons raised the bar with the paint job they did on our home. They prepped the home for 3 days before grabbing any paint, they pressure washed, scraped, chipped away old paint and flaking paint and then sealed any cracks of defects. They then primed any bare areas and prepped for paint. Lastly the painted a strong healthy coat on the whole house with no streaks or drips. This paint job is high quality and not for a high quality price. I am very impressed with their whole process and would highly recommend them to anyone. Service: Exterior painting

If you're looking for your next painter look no further! Matt and his team are fantastic. From the beginning they were extremely professional. Matt showed up when he said he was going to for the estimate. He took the time to walk through my home and took detailed notes of what work needed to be done. With in a couple of days he sent me my estimate. Once we decided to move forward Max and a couple of guys showed up on the on time on the day they said they were going to and got the job done. They even worked over time to get my home complete so we could move in on time. I can not recommend Gary and sons painting enough!
