CVC is a very dispassionate corporation that will give an already suffering heart patient more stress. Whenever you want to talk to someone concerning your condition, you will be bounced around the corporate phone tree until you are connected to an answering machine. You will be lucky if they call you back within a few days. This has happened to me almost every time I needed to get information. They will not give out the phone number to your doctors office, so you cannot call the nurse, or anyone else related to your medical case directly. Each time I call, I feel like I am talking to a cell phone or cable company that does not care one bit about my situation. I had to threaten to drop CVC as my medical provider just to get a call back within two days. Many hospitals will automatically assign you to this company while you are in the hospital. You DO NOT have to use them. Do your homework and find a medical provider that will actually treat you like a patient and sign up with them as opposed to CVC.
