      image Asked for bid on normal size house with average yard clean up...$1600, 4 guys for 8 hours.....said if it takes less than 8 hours, still going to be $1600...to weed and trim and rake. I dont know about you but I sure dont pay people who charge for an 8 hour day but then add disclaimer that it could be less than 8 hours but still full day charged......also, he wants prepayment for his jobs and for maintenance work. That, I believe, is illegal to ask for in CA. Just thought Id share what I found out when I asked for an estimate. Sounds very fishy to me
