Comfort Suites Phoenix North

Hotel Is over priced and rooms and hotel are infested with bugs- see pics below- Pool was nasty and had brown things floating in it and bread and food everywhere- brought these issues to the attention of staff and no one cared- stay away from this hotel!!

Comfort Suites does not care about its guest's safety or experience just their pocketbooks. We booked a room four months in advance only for Comfort Suites to tell us there was no room at that inn upon arrival. The receptionist tried to gaslight us into believing that we had called them less than 24 hours before arriving to cancel our confirmed reservation. Yet somehow, even though our reservation had been canceled moments before, they no longer had the available room. I suppose Comfort Suites thought their blatant lie would cover the fact that they falsely advertised available rooms when there were none. They made no efforts to try and find us a safe place to spend the night because as far as they were concerned we might as well go back to the airport where we came from. According to their other reviews this appears to be a habit of theirs so I warn you to find another hotel instead of staying in Dante's tenth circle.

Our group had this hotel booked four months prior to this incident. The day of our arrival which had to be one of the busiest weekends in Phoenix given spring training, the Taylor Swift concert and world baseball classic. We arrived to be told our reservation had been cancelled by us, obviously not true, and we were subsequently shown such little and poor customer service to try and resolve the problem I was and I still am truly appalled. It was obvious that the cancellation had not been made on our end but their staff made no effort to help remedy the situation. They did not offer to find another room, to call another location or to show even the faintest sense of empathy for the predicament their shady business had put us through. I promise you that there are better places to stay in Phoenix and I would recommend booking literally anywhere else if you want to receive a confirmation email that your hotel room is booked but actually want a guaranteed place to sleep.

DO NOT TRUST THIS HOTEL AT ALL COSTS. We booked this hotel reservation four months in advance in order to attend a concert on a Friday-Saturday in March. Although we received a confirmation that our hotel room was confirmed that week (Monday), the hotel cancelled the reservation without informing us on Thursday, the day before we were supposed to arrive. We did not find out our reservation was no longer available until we arrived at the hotel, where they then tried to tell us that we were the ones who had cancelled the reservation which was a blatant lie. The whole area was booked out, they knew that cancelling on us would allow them to secure a better rate with other customers who had waited to reserve a hotel. Their lack of service, care and common human decency was evident. They did not look for a replacement room in a nearby location nor offer to reimburse us in our efforts to find another hotel. I have never received such poor treatment from a hotel provider. Not having nice amenities is one thing (to be sure, they also don't have these)- but not being reliable enough to even provide the promised service when you confirmed days prior to arrival has lead me here to warn any other poor travelers that this hotel will cancel on you without any warning and leave you with no place to stay.
