I contacted DUMAC Construction and dealt with Juan. At first they seemed very professional and they promised me everything. But after negotiating a contract for 10 weeks they left me hanging. We would agree to a price of $25k and then he would come back and say thats not enough, I need $30k. Then I would concede and he would come back with a higher price. Don't believe anything that he says. Its all a lie. He only wants to come in with a low price at the start and then he will raise the price in the end. Don't fall for their lies

HORRIBLE, AWFUL, DEPLORABLE contractor. I would give 0 stars if I could. Stay away. I used Juan Duran and JR (Raul) Salcedo of DUMAC, LLC to do a large remodel project. They started out strong but things quickly went sideways. JR is rude, hostile, unprofessional, verbally abusive, and has a violent temper. He is unlicensed but uses Juan's license to do jobs. They took 7 months on a project that they guaranteed would be completed in 3, and still didn't finish. They used the cheapest labor workers imaginable, and many items did not meet minimum contractor standards and had to be corrected or redone. When I would point out sub par quality work, JR would curse me out and tell me I was too picky and needed therapy. After numerous confrontations like this I told JR I would not deal with him any more and went directly to Juan, who is actually licensed. Juan met me at the property, looked at the low quality work and unfinished items, and informed me that they wanted more money to finish. I threatened to file a complaint but Juan deviously explained that the ROC would not do anything, since it was only a few thousand dollars in dispute. (He is right, the ROC is worthless). Juan suggested that we call it even and part ways. I explained that I would be losing 3-5k if I do that since I had already paid for the remaining work, and Juan looked me in the eye and said "better a bad deal than a good fight." I agreed to part ways as I didn't want to waste any more time and was willing to cut my losses to never have to speak to either of these unprofessional again. I have one of my other contractors finishing up the job now, and fixing everything that these idiots screwed up in my property. Do your research, do not use either of these guys.

I hired Dumac LLC 9/18 and entered into a contract for a full interior and exterior remodel and to have my pool repaired. A large majority of the time (95% in 2 months time) only one worker showed up. They chipped my pool down to the rebar (probably caused more damage than before), destroyed ny cooling deck, removed an old driveway and poured a new one (poor quality), poured a front driveway (poor quality but better than the one he poured in my back yard) poured a sidewalk, erected a poorly constructed fence in my front yard (looks like cheap material and isn't completed i.e. was supposed to have iron rods and a solar powered rolling fence, that never happened.), and he left humongous chunks of old asphalt that he ripped out all surrounding my property and a fire hydrant and now the entire mess he left is violating city code. Dumac LLC completed less than 89% of the contracts and were paid more than 1/3 for an unfinished and unacceptable not to mention unprofessional job. He also has a huge attitude and surely showed it when I told him I wasn't satisfied with the work preformed. Please take your hard earned money to real professional contractors.
