Good doctors but horrible customer service. Ordering glasses or contacts from them is a nightmare; it takes them multiple attempts to get your order right, if they ever do at all. It always seems to take multiple phone calls or trips back to the office in order to get things sorted out, each time discovering that they entered something incorrectly in the system or forgot to place an order they said they’d already placed. Also, Irma, the woman who places orders for glasses, is incredibly rude, to the point where I nicely asked a question (for the first time) about when she thought one of the pairs of glasses I needed would arrive (since I was in town visiting family but would be leaving in a few weeks since I don’t live here anymore, so I wanted to know if they were likely to arrive while I was still in Arizona), and she started yelling at me and said, in a very condescending tone, “I believe I’ve already told you this” (she hadn’t). She also constantly talked over me when I tried to explain something, which was very unpleasant and also made the interaction take much longer than it needed to because she didn’t let me give her the information she needed up front — and then she later berated me for not giving her that information (I tried multiple times?). I ended up ordering one pair of glasses when I was back home, and the staff at the optometrists’ office there told me Irma was very rude to them on the phone when they called with a question about my glasses (they told me this without any knowledge of my experience with her). Hopefully this place can fire Irma and hire new front desk staff because these individuals — not the eye doctors themselves — are the reason I (and so many other reviewers on here) are finding new doctors.

Dr Hollenbeck is awesome. I've seen her for years, never had a bad experience. She goes above and beyond every time! If I could give this rating a million stars I would!!!

My family and I have received excellent service for 25 years. Doctors and staff are amazing. I recently brought my niece and Dr. Rios prescribed the perfect contact lenses for her. She had been going to a commercial eye care center for years and she was told that she would never be able to wear contact lenses. This was definetly life changing for her. I highly recommend PVEC. They will make sure to do everything possible to meet your eye care needs.

I have went to Dr Hollenbach for over 10 years. She is friendly, conversational, and her expertise in my care has been top notch. The front desk staff has always been really friendly and went above and beyond in my service. I highly recommend.
