Horizon Laser Vision

My experience at Horizon has been fantastic; very caring, competent staff. I had cataract surgery in both eyes plus glaucoma stents preformed by Dr Joshua Duncan. He thoroughly explained everything and was extremely caring. I’m very pleased to have found Horizon.

I had lasik done by Dr. Duncan 3 months ago. I am in my late 20s and never had any sort of medical procedure before, was very anxious going in. The whole process/procedure is so easy and amazing. The post-op eyedrops they prescribed were generic and affordable. All the staff was kind, caring, professional. In the op room, the doctors gave me a teddy bear to hug and covered me with a blanket (room was very cold) which I thought was a very sweet/nice touch. And 3 minutes later, I could see 20/20. It's so impressive! The offices sets me up with follow up appointments with decreasing frequency to ensure my eyes look healthy. My eyes are drier than before and usually worse when I wake up. I use lubricating drops throughout the day and I do see halos when driving at night time. But it doesn't bother me too much, it's normal and should go away over time. I would still high recommend lasik to anyone considering it.

My first experience with Horizon was 38 years ago when Dr. Feller had a small office and 1 Tech. I have never been to another practice since then. Currently, I just completed cataract surgery on my left eye eye with Dr. McCullough and will have the same surgery on the right eye in 3 days. My vision in the left eye is better than it was 38 years ago. I fully anticipate the same this week in the right eye. Dr. McCullough's surgical skills and "bedside" manner are 2nd to none. The support staff is always professional, very caring and courteous. Dr. Cook's diagnoses' have been 100% correct each and every time. Dr. Cook and Dr. Dee have facilitated my surgery follow-up exams in the same caring and professional manner that I have come to expect from Horizon. 10/18/2021 William Payson, AZ

First time utilizing this optometrist . The communication before, during, and after my appointment was terrific. I enjoyed the fact of scheduling an eye exam at a specific time and seeing the Optometrist Dr. Dee in a reasonable amount of time. The pre test exam was done by Ruby who was professional, courteous, and personable. She was thorough and asked related questions to the testing my eyes. Dr. Dee, optometrist, spent plenty of time testing my eyes and asking appropriate questions in order to fulfill my new prescription. She was also professional, expedient, and personable. She decided to test my contact lens a separate day as my eyes were dilated and difficult seeing. The follow up was outstanding; she decided to get me trial contact lens to use at a future date. Highly recommend this place.
