Since I started going to Dr. Mathews my blood sugars ( A1C) has gone from 9 to 7.4, my cholesterol has gone from 260 to 174, some people said she is rude, I have never experienced any rudeness at all, she is professional, intelligent, and if you think she is opinionated, well she just might be, but, she is the doctor here , not you, so her opinion matters. I have never had a problem with the neighborhood, and staff has always been very nice and helpful. All in all she is a very good doctor and knows her field well. Jackie Morrissette

I would never recommend her. She is very rude and condescending. No bedside manner at all. Doesn't seem to care if the medications she prescribes causes issues, as long as she gets her kickbacks! Does not listen, nor seem to care. Wants you go just do what she says. Her office is in a very rough area, and her patients seem to be equally rough. I went to her for a year, and felt much worse than I ever did prior to seeing her!

Dr. Matthew is very smart. I cannot understand why people are giving her poor reviews, except that she is a bit no nonsense and really wants to help you. I am much healthier as a patient of Dr. Matthew than I ever was before and I am so thankful for her. As I said before, she is very smart and is up-to-date on all new medications available.

Dr. Mathews has an excellent bedside manor and is very kind, sensitive and thorough. I had a great experience at her office. I was in and out within an hour!
