This doctor “ghosted” me by that I mean I had appointments with her and follow up appointments scheduled with her. She had a “treatment plan” and never told me she planned on leaving. Then a couple days before my appointment I got a notification saying my appointment was cancelled. I then proceeded by called to reschedule.... the lady on the phone told me that Dr. Schlotterer no longer works there, she can not give me information about where she is now, but can recommend a follow up doctor? Now, I can’t even get my labs sent to my new doctor so she can actually help me. She wasn’t the friendliest or best doctor but I expected more than finding out from the new receptionist that she could no longer see me. I have been left cleaning up a mess that she started. From the beginning she prescribed me expensive medicine I did not need and dismissed my symptoms. She didn’t think anything was wrong with me because I wasn’t screaming in pain - the lab results showed differently. I’m sure she is a doctor somewhere still, so I recommend that anyone considering her as a doctor reconsider finding a doctor that values you as a patient. Very dissatisfied

I'm disappointed in Dr. Schlotterer. I called to make an appointment a wk after I received an email from her and was told she no longer works there and they don't know where she went. Rumor has it she just up and left the job. I can't get my medical records that I need for my new Dr (whom I love by the way! She's 10xs better than Dr. S). Very unprofessional to ghost her clients.

I had my first gyno appointment with Dr. Mary Schlotterer and left a little traumatized! I didn’t understand why she kept applying pressure when I told her I was in pain and my legs were shaking. She showed no interest or knowledge about the methods of birth control we were using. (We don’t use any, we follow a Natural Family Planning Method) so her comments following what we should do didn’t help at all! In the room, music was blaring. I have never been in a doctors room where you were listening to pop music while trying to talk about medical conditions with a doctor. It was very unprofessional and I felt like it wasn’t helpful to the patient. I left upset from the pain I was caused which deepened my reason for going there in the first place. Even my husband who accompanied me during the visit felt very upset and sick afterwards from seeing me in pain and how she treated me. He was upset with the set up of the office, how she didn’t show concern for how I was feeling or showing compassion for why we were there. Overall very discouraged instead of encouraged.

Very clean! And up to date technology. And she answered my many questions. All things I appreciate.
