Dr. Chal tried selling me on 4k of TMJ research (his time) and diagnostic mumbo jumbo (CT scans and MRI's) on my jaw (TMJ) when I went for a simple chipped tooth and researching veneers (he would not fix my chipped tooth with out me consenting to TMJ research) - I went to another dentist the same day and they fixed my chipped tooth for $169.20. Dr. Chal charged me 200.00 to do absolutely nothing! - then refused to refund my money.

Dr Chal helped treat my wife's very in depth dental problem that was met with shrugs and blank looks elsewhere. He has a great team of supporting physicians and specialists that he was able to communicate the problem with and come to a consensus as to the best method of treatment. My wife and I would like to express our sincere thanks to his office staff and all members of his team. Their thorough attention to detail and level of compassion is unsurpassed.

I recently woke up and felt with my tongue that a piece of my molar had broken away. I was surprised because I could not recall eating anything hard or unusual. I went to see Dr. Chal. After he looked in my mouth and discussed my situation, he informed that this type of tooth fracture could be a result of a problem with my TMJ. Dr. Chal proceeded to examine my TMJ. He put his little finger into my ear and instructed me to open and close. I could feel the disc in my TMJ herniate and my jaw moved in an irregular pattern. This was rather startling and a little painful. Dr. Chal recommended comprehensive diagnostics to confirm his suspicion. He ordered an MRI to evaluate the soft tissue in my TMJ and a CAT scan to evaluate the bone. These exams and radiology reports were somewhat time consuming and costly, but I knew they would provide the necessary information for Dr. Chal to properly treat my underlying TMJ problem. He later took care of my broken molar. As a practicing physician for more than 20 years I wanted more than just a “band-aid” approach, or temporary fix, for my personal healthcare. Dr. Chal is an outstanding diagnostician and an extremely skilled clinician. I highly recommend him.

Though out the years I have had alot of dental work done. I knew I had to look for a Doctor that did more then my local Dentist. It was very hard to eat, smile and laugh. I was very self-conscious about this. My hand covered my mouth alot. Since I am dealing with other medical issues, I knew I didn't want just anybody. I began my search on the internet looking for a Doctor in various cities near and far that had experience with dental problems. After weeks of researching, Dr. Arthur Chal's website became my choice. I knew after reading about all his credentials, information about his procedures , patient testimonies, awards and found out Doctors from Mayo even referred their patients to him, I knew this Doctor was the one for me. He was located in Phoenix, the furthest away from our home in N.D., but I truly felt that he could help me. I then went to Phoenix for my consultation. Diagnostic tests and imaging confirmed Dr.Chal's diagnosis. He knew what was going on before MRI and Imaging results were back, very impressive. The results showed severe atrophy of both upper and lower jaw and other issues. Dr.Chal explained and illustrated the problems which I never knew I had prior to this visit. No wonder my dentures wouldn't work or stay in. Dr.Chal explained to my husband and I what was needed to correct these problems. The general plan would be done in phrases that would include the Doctors and members on his team that would do bone grafting, implants, and dentures either fixed or retractable. After hours and hours of detailed planning, Dr. Chal came up with a precise plan that would work for me and last a life time. It was a journey to achieve his goal of "perfection". It took time and was amazing all the steps that he took to reach his goal for me. I do know his patients are his priority. Dr.Chal was there for me from beginning to end. I knew I could see or call him anytime. I am so happy and blessed that I found Dr.Chal, he is the best!! I can eat anything I like, laugh, smile and enjoy life!! Plus everybody say's "I look younger". A very big thank-you to Dr.Chal and his team who made my journey totally rewarding. My only regret I have, will be that I will miss everyone of them. They all were so concerned and caring.

My wife Lonnie and I met Dr. Chal several years ago because my wife had severe dental issues. Dr. Chal and his team started the long process of taking care of her. I was with her every step of the way as they proceeded to do an extraordinary job for preparing my wife for her new dentures, both uppers and lowers. When she was finished, my wife had the most beautiful natural smile that anyone could ever have. The professionalism of Dr. Chal and his staff was way beyond the call of duty. I am exceptionally happy with every step he has been doing on me. Family and friends do not even know that I have new upper dentures, that's how natural they look. There are more steps to be done and I am looking forward to the day of completion. My wife and I will always be patients of Dr. Chal.
