        I had Shutter Crafters install 14 shutters soon after purchasing my home in 2015. Initially after the install, I was very pleased with how they looked. When I thoroughly checked out the quality a few weeks later, I noticed a small crack in one of the slats. I called Shutter Crafters to let them know I would like to have it repaired. I was told they would call me when they had an opening. No call back. The hinges also appear to be rusty, seeping through the white finish on them. I do not have a swamp cooler/evaporative cooler, so I am not sure why this is happening. The lowest quote you get is not always the best value. I am not happy with the quality and feel the company is unresponsive , once they have your money. A friend used Heritage Shutters in Peoria, so that is who I recommend when anyone asks me for a referral. I will not recommend Shutter Crafters.
