I had a wonderful experience going through A Perfect Fit Nanny services. I worked closely with Emily, who heard what I was looking for, and found me the greatest family to nanny for! Update: I feel the owner response to be pretty misleading so to clarify: 1 - we weren't looking for a nanny who could work 12 days straight - thats insane.... we were looking monday-friday 8am-4pm (fairly standard there), perhaps some weekends and odd date nights. 2 - in regards to Covid, all we asked was that the nanny was vaccinated (also pretty standard for someone coming into your house and touching your newborn) 3 - we specifically asked if we were asking too much or what was the issue and were reassured in writing that our position was competitive. Original Review: Pretty useless. My husband and I needed to find a full time nanny for our newborn once we both started back up with work. I assumed hiring an agency would take some of the stress out of the situation and that the agency would find us a nanny faster and easier than if we did it ourselves. I was wrong. First off, the agency is not cheap. There is a deposit just to get started with a nanny search (which they are refusing to give back, even though they did nothing for us) and then its several thousands of $$ to hire a nanny through them. I'm good with paying top dollar for a premium service, but we literally got nothing from them. Everything started off fine, we had our initial phone consult and we were assured they would find us someone within our initial 1 month timeframe, which turned out to be all empty promises. We had one interview with a nanny who was not a good fit at all (and who I also had found on care.com for free myself prior and decided not to interview before but took the chance anyways), and lots of promises for more resumes that never came or weren't what we asked for. We ended up finding a nanny on our own with minimal effort. It took the agency almost 3 weeks to reach back out to us before they even knew we found someone else. Not impressed at all. Save yourself some money and just find someone yourself.

Sara promised us valid candidates and failed to provide them. One of the candidates they provided was one we found on a free site, and they were not available for the times we specified. The other candidate they provided could not start till September... We told them we would like placement in 3 weeks if possible, not 4 months. Sara told us several times "I have a great candidate for you" then she would never send the resume for us to review. Sara then went dark for 3 weeks. In that 3 weeks we were able to find 3 candidates, interview them all, background check the one we liked and hire them. Save your money, do the work yourself. It would appear they get their candidates from the same free sites we use anyway. Furthermore, the price they charge for doing nearly nothing is obscene.
