Run from this place and take your money elsewhere! Sandra Slaton is an awful attorney, she is extremely overpriced and you definitely dont get what you pay for. She is full of false promises, and doesnt deliver. She is forgetful, she rushes through her work and often times gets facts and dates incorrect in her correspondence to opposing counsel, which shouldnt be surprising, because she doesnt take the time to actually listen to her clients or properly read through anything. She violates attorney client privilege, and even after pointed out to her, she is inconsistent with her approach- one time apologizing for her actions, while other times continuing to violate maliciously. Sandra has the biggest ego, and does not know how to handle being challenged by a client who disagrees with her approach, even when she is wrong and behaving unethically. She is absolutely horrible with time management, which was a huge detriment at Trial. She wasted 18min with dramatic effect, using a whiteboard to make a point that has already been acknowledged by the court, rather than properly managing her time to give her client and other key witnesses more time on the stand, or entered pertinent exhibits into evidence. She is better suited to be an actress, than a lawyer. Shes theatrical and dramatic in all the wrong ways. Sandra was recorded using foul language and intimidation tactics with her client and then attempted to spin the narrative and shift blame, rather than be truthful. Your money will not be appropriately managed at this firm. Most fees were wasted in emails arguing with her own client. They are also extremely unprofessional. If you go to their office, everyone walks around without shoes on, and Sandra specifically is always late. She was late to every meeting, mediation, and even showed up late to court for Trial. She used threatening language in writing that violated code of ethics and professional misconduct and I have consulted with a malpractice attorney who assured me that I have plenty of cause to move forward with action against her. I have also contacted the Arizona Bar to file a formal grievance against her and her partner, Kristin Roebuck Bethell. Kristin does not have a mind of her own and acts as a lost dog who follows commands of her owner, even when blatantly wrong. Kristin does not return calls and makes up lies to get off the phone if you catch her off guard and she answers thinking it was someone else. Kristin threw her own partner, Sandra, under the bus in a recorded phone call, but then in front of her partner changed her position, almost as if she was bullied into doing so. Kristin has two 1 star reviews on Avvo and is about to get a third. This firm is sloppy, inconsistent, unethical and will not properly advocate for you. Save your time and money and consult with any other lawyer in the Scottsdale/Phoenix area to save yourself from the headache!

These attorneys are dishonest, inconsistent, and not knowledgeable when it comes to family law. They are overpriced, unprofessional, and unethical. There are pending disciplinary actions against them at this current time. Save yourself and go somewhere else!

These attorneys use tactics that are unethical and unprofessional in action. The method used for gaining the case was persuasive, but the follow through was not delivered. They are a firm hungry for money, and your money is not even appropriately used to advocate for you. Sandra Slaton is a bully, she is unapologetic in her approach to do whatever she wants whether it goes in line with the law or not. These attorneys make changes to pleadings after youve reviewed them, but dont get your consent or approval for the changes and file them that way anyway. They need to constantly be reminded to stay on top of pressing matters. Its as if they think that once they have your money, they can slack on the work and not be true to the promises made on their end when retaining them in the first place. You definitely do not get what you pay for with this firm!
