Understanding the Times: ODBC
This week, after another hailstorm, Aware contacted us to check on the roof. They found no damage & said our roof was “nearly perfect.” That confirmed to me that they are a company of integrity, not just making things up to get work. I appreciated that. And I am grateful for & highly recommend Aware.

Yes, just by naming the adjuster AWARE OWNER is a brilliant way to make all insured house owners to pause and reflect, before they personally go directly to their insurers to file a complaint. I was one of those who did it, and it was a nightmare! Had I known that there is AWARE that could seamlessly help me, I wouldn’t have suffered the horror of dealing with my insurer. It took a very long time, and arduous process before a small portion of my rental leaking roof was fixed. I almost had a heart attack explaining to them that the leak was caused by force majeure and not by wear and tear. The amount given to me by the insurer to have the roof fixed was so small that I think I spent more after contacting the roof company that the insurer referred to me! I had a legitimate claim from the insurer to give us a new roof, but to no avail.
Luckily this time, one of the owners and knowledgeable adjuster of AWARE, John Bellerose, knock at our door to explain to us about the easiest, hassle free, and no money involved on our part to get a new roof. Alleluia! It was, indeed, a dream come true, touched by a company with extraordinary work ethics. I’ll tell you why.
The polite, soft spoken,and patient Richard, AWARE employee, talked to me on the spot about my insurer and how AWARE can help. He returned on site 3 times to ask me if I had any concern about the project. Richard is truly a keeper!
The sweet, jovial Patty Barnes, became my AWARE contact person . Oh! It was a delight talking to her about the progress of my transactions with AWARE. So delighted that I wanted AWARE to increase her salary or give her a bonus for a job well-done. I truly wanted to meet her in person and be my friend.
Mr. Bellerose and Daniel came to our house to meticulously and clearly explained the documents I had to sign virtually. Daniel asked me what color I wanted for my roof tiles and when the roofer will start. Also, the schedule and payment for uninstalling and reinstalling of our solar panels were done by AWARE.
Employee like Raquel, the manager, did her part to call and send me all the necessary documents I signed. She didn’t put me in the dark on the matter.
In other words, all AWARE employees are extraordinary and talented. And even the roofers Raul and Theo came on time as scheduled, hard working, polite, and clean making sure that they leave our surroundings the same way as they first step on it. I saw how many times they check on the grounds to pick up even the smallest debris! I love them all.
Now, I can, categorically, say that transacting business with AWARE is a piece of cake, from start to finish. I even volunteered to talk to insured people including my family, relatives and friends about a rare breed of company AWARE OWNER is.
