I busted the caretaker leaving early leaving my disabled roommate alone for hours two different times. She still submitted a time card having me charged for a full 8-hour shift even though she knew he was she was caught. I have no proof she had a license to practice nursing in the state of Arizona to begin with. I have no proof this is a legitimate business to begin with. You can't pay for services online. They only take cash or check.

Within two weeks I found out the caretaker was leaving early leaving my friend with Dementia alone for the rest of the 8hr shift. Even after I came home early from work and she knew I busted her she still fudged her timecard and still had me charged for the full 8hr shift both days I knew she went home early. Make sure you put in cameras to watch these caretakers when using this company.

I live in California and my daughter lives in Arizona. She took a bad fall and has absolutely no one there to assist her in any way. I was at a true loss and frantically called and left messages for an agency to just call me back to discuss how I could acquire services. Several agencies flat out stated they don't do anything short term. Most just never returned my calls or messages. Until "Tender Heart". A very nice man, Ray, returned my call and was quick to understand my needs. I cannot tell you my relief that indeed my daughter can get the services she needs. I feel so hopeful now where last night I was so upset and desperate. If you need these kinds of services, you really need to read the amazing list of services they can provide. And speak to Ray, he really can help you. Sincerely grateful, Vicki

Hiring this company was the biggest mistake ever and if I could give them no stars I would. If you are looking for a reliable, honest company to care for your loved one, trust me, this isn't it.
I originally hired THHC in early September to care for my father. My first impression was a professional company endorsed by the VA that expressed confidence in their ability to take on my father's case and help him with his in home needs. At first, things went pretty smoothly but that quickly changed. Over the four months that that THHC was in charge of his care needs there were numerous occasions where his caregivers were late or just didn't show up and left my father unattended. My father needs help getting in and out of bed and relies on someone to be there to help him start his day as he is disabled. This put my family in a huge crunch to make sure that we could get to his home and help him because with THHC there is no backup plan. When I would reach out to the owner/office manager/only point of contact for THHC Ray Johnson he would be act surprised and say he would handle it right away and that someone would come out to cover which never happened. I later found out this company has no clock in/clock out method so if someone is late or doesn't show, the office doesn't know about it - pretty irresponsible if you ask me. Anyhow, I'm a patient person and realize that things can happen and gave this company chance after chance. I later lost count of how many times they didn't show but I know the last week we used them it was six days in a row. If the constant reliability wasn't enough - we had things taken from his home and once a caregiver used my father's credit card to purchase groceries for himself. ( We caught this on one of our security cameras). We also had caregivers asking to borrow his car to run personal errands and putting him in bed early so they could leave, clock out early and get paid for the hours. Probably the worst part of it all was the constant drama between the associates and Ray - the owner. When I brought my concerns to Ray, there was little empathy and just excuse after excuse. When I finally found a replacement and let them go - the reasoning I got for all the issues is that they weren't charging us enough and if we paid them more they could provide better service. Seriously? We paid on time every two weeks and had the bill auto charged through a credit card.
The point is, if you have a loved one that has extensive care needs and you need a caregiving company - save yourself the headache. The position this company put my family and I in time and time again was tremendously neglectful.
