Absolutely terrible experience with Tim. I have an entire review of my experience with him written out but it was too long for both Yelp and Google Reviews. Instead of shrinking it down, I'll just summarize:
I hired him to make a furniture piece out of some old parts from a crib that has been a part of our family for over 50 years. He agreed and I paid him a $500 down payment to secure the job. I wanted a bed footstool to be made from the old crib parts that we could place at the base of the bed in our master bedroom and I was very explicit about that. I dropped the parts off and the downpayment in February, explaining I wanted to give it to her for Christmas 10 months later.
The product was not delivered until Christmas morning after he changed the completion date numerous times. He also made the wrong thing, not even making a footstool at all. It was delivered unfinished with missing cabinet doors, no upholstery, and a subpar paint job. And it was clear that he didn't even start on the project until probably one or two days before Christmas, at which point he had to just throw something together to meet the deadline (which he again changed numerous times).
Tim acted indignant that I didn't like what he had created and refused to refund any of my money, instead offering to "fix" the mess he had created because it was "warrantied." Completely unacceptable and just a miserable experience. Buyer beware.
