image The best part of this hotel is the location right across from the mall and tons of dining options.
Staff were friendly and tried sincerely to resolve issues we had. Ultimately though, the issues are too far out of the control of any one person.
The hallways reek of weed. The room also smelled of the devils lettuce. But it wasnt nearly as strong as the hallways.
While the hotel is a non-smoking hotel, and we didnt see evidence of people smoking inside the hotel, its definitely apparent on the clothing of visitors and staff.
The rooms are remodeled and updated, this simply means they installed new counter tops and a backsplash in the kitchen areas. All the faucets were corroded. The toilet in one of the bathrooms wouldnt stop running after flushing. And each time you had to lift the tank lid and adjust flapper. There was a lot of mineral buildup and probably needed to be replaced. The shower heads were so corroded that only about half of the nozzles would spray.
The beds are still atrocious and uncomfortable. The mattresses feel like theyre 20 years old. Or perhapsand more likelyits been 10 years of little Kevin McAllisters jumping on the beds.
If you dont mind the marijuana smell and the uncomfortable beds, then maybe this hotel could work.
As for us, we will not be back. But thank you to the staff for understanding and for their kindness when we checked out after just one night, opting for an air bnb instead.
Rooms: They smell like weed.

image My room did not have any working central heat/AC. There were temporary window units set up that were very problematic - not all had the capability for heat, and the outside temperature was cold. Further, because they were temporary units, the blinds would not close all the way because of the duct leading outside the window. Air from the outside was coming in through the partially open window as well as street noise. I brought this up to the front desk clerk, and all she replied was "sorry, we're working on it" - however that was no help to me as it wasn't fixed, nor was I offered another room. For the price I paid, I could have stayed at a cheap motel several times over and at least had working heat. I'm very disappointed with this stay and the lack of customer service I received when raising the issue.

image Right off the freeway. There are tons of dining options around it. Most importantly, it's clean and comfortable.
