image The people who run the train are very great. You'll enjoy your trip. Remember there is no depot in Wasilla.. but the train stops and loads quickly and away you go. Works great but don't be late. This is a real train and it really blocks KGB while they load and unload.

image This has been one of the most horrific experiences of my time in Alaska. A complete waste of time a 7 and a 1/2 hour trip to denali took 8 and a 1/2 hours the 1st way and back to Anchorage took almost 9 Absolute waste of my time for the short time I had here, It definitely could have been spent better.

Alex Nichols on Google

image Not particularly sure where all these other reviewers think they were but it isn't where you get on train in Wasilla. You board the train in a mostly unmarked gravel lot. They need to update their instructions to let people know this, I had to call them to confirm I was in the correct place and didn't need to go anywhere to have my tickets printed. Experience on the train is great but the lack of a proper station in Alaska's 4th largest city is ridiculous.

image Small train stop.
They could use benches as a waiting spot.
Better pavement and walkway.
Not good for disavked people ir wheelchairs.
