I am a veteran and a civilian employee. I made my second trip to Seward over the long Indigenous Peoples Day holiday. This time I rented a "deluxe" townhouse because I was making the trip with a friend. While the resort has a very institutional look to it, for obvious reasons, it is very comfortable and welcoming. The townhouse was clean and surprisingly well supplied. I packed one of my own pans because I expected a poor selection in the townhouse. No need! I really didn't need to pack anything more than ingredients.
The townhouse was quite luxurious for two people, but having a kitchen meant we did not need to go out for meals. I really think a family of up to five or six members, who mostly planned on spending time exploring the area, could comfortably stay in the townhouse. It has plenty of closet and storage space.
The internet was pretty hit or miss. It was better, but not great, the first time I stayed, though. I wouldn't rely on having fast, reliable internet service. Plan ahead and have games, etc., to play while indoors and/or download digital content before your trip.
I really look forward to my next visit. I will also recommend the place to everyone I know who qualifies to stay there.

It's always been a great place to stay. Always clean, and staff always friendly. Although kids got loud nextdoor late at night. Had to call front desk. Some people have no respect for others.
