I took out 2 star because 1) The Captain (Perseverance Boat) was bragging about himself when we told him we will give good reviews. He said I am good (or perhaps said OK) as if he does not care about people's review. This is 1st time I met such a person 2) When his assistant filleting the fish he was throwing 50% of the fish meat and he did not clean the scale of the Rockfish. Also we gave him some tips ($20) he first refused to take as if the tips was not enough for him. We were 17 in the group. Imagine all of us tipping him and how much he would get. Other than these two issues the trip was nice, we all caught our share of fish (there is a quote per person how many you can bring to the shore)

We originally booked a full day halibut & salmon charter with another charter in town, but got cancelled due to bad weather and rough seas. Luckily, The Fish House was able to get us on an afternoon rockfish charter with Captain Nick on Revelation and we had an excellent trip! Captain Nick was extremely patient, helpful, and fun to be around. Everyone else on the boat had hit their rockfish limit for the day, except for me. But Captain Nick was persistent and helped me hit my limit before it was time to head back to harbor (even though it was rainy and the seas were rough). Thank you so much Captain Nick and the Fish House for a memorable day!

My wife and I were running late due to construction coming from Anchorage. Captain contacted booking agent (Misty) to verify if we were still coming. Once confirmed Captain/crew waited for us to get there. Upon arrival Captain and crew were welcoming and ensured we were taken care of.👍👍

These folks know what they're doing. No sugar-coating what this is - fishing in an unbelievable location . These are hard working individuals that love what they do. ...and it rubs off on the lucky few who get to go out when everything is just right. My family and I went out on the afternoon trip on the Perseverance and it was beyond what i imagined.
