My 84 yr old mother in law paid a bill sent by Care, that should have been covered by insurance. A month after she paid it, her insurance paid the same bill. When she called to get a refund, they told her they did no see the payment. She has a statement from the insurance company and a canceled check. Either Care keeps poor financial records or they are deceitful in their practices. This is a form of elder abuse. It will not go unnoticed.

Rider beware! While Care Ambulance shows as in network on BCBS Alabama website for ALL Kids and Blue Advantage (65 and older), they are NOT in network (PPO) for the general population. Their charge to take me 4.1 miles was $816.38 which included a $324.47 out of network charge!
