I am in the Ecoco-Lodge in Huntsville. AL. I like that there is a microwave and refrigerator. The sink is separate from the toilet and bathtub. I don't like that there are roaches here. Also, the rooms are on the outside, so if it's Wintertime, you will be cold. There is a gap, underneath the door jam, for air to come through. I will not stay here again. No more 2-star hotels for me.
Rooms: Nice but there are roaches here.

DO NOT STAY HERE.
Listed as a two star hotel. I'd definitely give it less. The rooms are much as you'd expect from a rundown budget hotel. Chipped paint, worn fixtures. The room is barren, like it once had furniture but over time it's been destroyed and never replaced. The tub faucet leaks and the water pressure is too high for it to seal properly when running the shower. So it screams at you the entire time.
The room bed has burn holes in the comforter and sheets since it was a smoking room. But the comforter also has a giant piss colored stain on it.
Realistically I could overlook these things. But now I'm stuck outside of my room. My card doesn't let me in and the attendant doesn't have the right key to let us in. Their maintenance guy "went outside" and could be back soon or in 3 hours. They can't seem to be able to give me a straight answer.
1 star. I would give them zero stars if I could. They've handled this situation awfully.
